Hello homeschoolers!

Welcome to the forum! I am thrilled you have come by to visit. We have a lot to discuss, don’t we? I hope we do. I am always trying to meet new homeschooling friends.

I have been working hard on these forums and getting them ready. I know I have missed something with all these ideas and notes rolling like rocks around in my head. I am still diligently working to get everything ready, but I think we are to a point of being open for business, so to speak.

I have been compiling a list of FAQs to get posted on the forums, but why don’t you help me out a bit. What are your questions and I will get them answered ASAP. If it’s on my list great, if not, even better - that means I missed it or at least didn’t get it down on paper yet.

Tell your friends about this forum and invite them over to join us.

Here are a few of the most basic rules I have:

  • If you are a student, your parent/s must come by, register, and introduce themselves first - listing their student’s name so I can properly identify you and get you set up in the forum so you can post.
  • If you are a parent, you will need to register, introduce yourself, list your student/s so I can allow them to join. I will send you an e-mail to verify who you are. Please, if you have a blog, link it for me so I can stop by and see you. If your homeschooling child has a blog, list that too. I will be composing a linky-luv blogroll for all our active members.
  • The student only section will only be activated to the students (no guests or public viewing will be allowed). I have set the permissions for the parents to be able to read the student forums, but they can post there, that is for the children.
  • Don’t worry, Parents, you have a private forum too. This is where you can discuss any curriculum or problems without the children reading any how-tos or private comments you make.

Like I said, this is just a short list, a very short list, but it will get you started. Ask away with your questions and let’s get started!
