This forum is an addon to our home school blog. At the top of the site the navigation will take you to our our home school blog. The two are differnt blog installs so there is no direct connection of blog posts and forum posts. The news link at the top of the navigation bar will keep you here within the forum site, listing any direct forum or blog post pertaining to this forum.

I could have installed the forum to be in the same directory as the blog, but I made this choice for several reasons. I wanted to keep the forum install separate so that as it grows and I need to add some moderators I can allow them access to this section without needing to configure our blog admin any differently. Also, there may be some forum users who do not particularly care about any of our home school posts. (I know. It's hard to beleive isn't it? But it's true. I don't take it personally. Well, not much, anyway. )

I just wanted to make it clear that if you are subscribed to the forum feed then you are not also subscribed to our homeschool feed and vice versa. You can also subscribe to the individual forums and the individual topics if you so desire. Lots of options.

This way if you only want one of the feeds you can have it without the interference of the other. If you want both, you must subscribe to them individually.
