Well you have to jump through about three hoops and one of them has fire around it.

OK, so not really. But it takes a few steps to verify who you are. I am allowing our students to have their own section here, so I am being rather cautious about it all. I do hope you can understand and appreciate that.

First, if I know you already you do not have to jump through any hoops.

Secondly, if you know someone on these forums that is already a member, have them send me a Private Message (PM) or an e-mail stating they know you and how they now you. You know, a bit of an endorsement, if you will.

Thirdly, if you have come here via a link or ad on another site you will need to send me a PM telling me how you found us and what your interests are. If you have a blog please leave me a link to it so I can come by and visit you (and, yes, to maybe even “check you out”).

Fourthly, as this forum grows it will get harder and harder to make those quick decisions and I will need to put more hoops for jumping through into play.
