Ah, good question.

Firstly, you have to get one of your parents to come by and introduce him/herself and let me know that you want to join and that it is OK with them if you do join. They must provide a list of their students that may be posting on this forum.

Secondly, after they have done the first step for you, then and only then, will I move your membership into the student section.

Thirdly, do NOT fill in all the personal information in the Profile section. Most of that information can be seen publicly, so take care in filling out those sections.

If you have your own blog you can list that and you will get a link to your site, but only do this if your parents say it is alright with them. Also, if you want to put up your first name, please leave your last name blank.
