I have not been in a big hurry to correct the "baby" words with any of my children, but the /f/ thing was making him sound more and more like he was from London. It really is about the only thing that has not seemed to get better on its own over time. The fact that he will be five in late November had me thinking I needed to help the proper /th/ along. Since all of my other kiddos have self-corrected certain sounds by five, or at least made natural progressions by five, I was a bit worried his might become a bad habit harder to break later. I am going to miss it. But right now I absolutely love how happy he is to be getting the /th/ sound even if it means sticking his tongue way out and spitting a bit when he does it (need to get this on video).

De-spining books...hmm maybe I should write a post about that because I am curious what other do and how they handle multitudes of workbooks/papers that start out scattered. What say you? Let's both write something up and I'll do a linky. Up for it? It might be a good one for the beginning of the school year idea sharing.

Okay, so.... I have not been in a huge hurry to "correct" Little Man's lisp. I know that if he concentrates, he doesn't lisp...but it's SO cute, and he's my BABY! Sigh...I guess I need to set a goal to correct him more often.

Question, do you "de-spine" your kiddo's workbooks????
